Default O2 sensor bungs...

does anyone know where the ideal place is to put a wideband o2 sensor?... i am soon going to get somesort of AF wideband gauge/controller... but the thing is i am also getting testpipes, ypipe, and exhuast.... does any tespipe come with bungs prewelded in? any help would be great... preferably a Testpipe that has little to raspiness... also where would a EGT guage be mounted? do i need another bung for 1 of these when i go FI?

I have the Zeitronix Wideband. I also have Borla Exhaust w/RT Cats. The drivers side R/T Cat came with bung, but had to add a 2nd. Installed A/F in front of the cat and OEM in new location to the rear of the cat. Had to tap and mount EGT on the passenger to the rear of the cat.

The suggestion is to install the sensor at least 24 inches from block, I put mine afterthe turbo install and didn;t feel like removing the down pipes so I installed it just ahead of the rear stock 02 sensor since I ahve test pipes then the cat was not an issue and it looks to be the 24 inches from the engine.

As for the EGT sensor it is suggested that it be installed within 2 inches from the block on the exhaust manifold so it is as accurate as possible and actually reading close to temperature at the piston, back by the 02 sensor it is not giving much useful information.
