TS reflash.. 2 quick questions
1. is this 7100RPM rev limit really a safe thing? is it something to only go up to during track runs or at the strip? or can you go to it occasionally during everyday driving...?
2. can the dealership detect it easily? im sure it mostlikely voids the factory warrenty... but if they cant detect it then whats the worry?
and again thanks for all the help to all my questions....

The rev limiter increase is quite nice. It really prevents you from bouncing off the limiter. I would never recommend taking the car up to those rpms and staying there for any length of time. It is more for ease of shifting than sustained extreme driving.
There really is no way for the dealer to know unless you are up front with them. TS does put a sticker on the backside of the ECU with a reference to the reflash that you received, but the dealer would have to get under and take the ECU out to see that sticker.
Be careful when increasing the rev limit. I know Nissan sets it conservatively, but to put this into persective: If you increase the rev limit, for instance, for 6000rpm to 7000rpm, that is a 70% increase in inertial load on the rods as they change direction. It's not a linear increase in stress on the motor, it's an exponential increase.
