Default engine pullies

Is there any problems with the charging system after you change the pullies on the motor?, I know it's a different car, but my friend change the pullies on his STI and he had problems with his charging system. If so do you also have to change to the pullie on the alternator also?

Thanks
Jose

Thats what i have said but other people claim no problems at all. I haven't done it so i guess I shouldn't say it will cause problems on this car, but I know it has caused problems on other cars that have pullies not the same diameter as stock.

10K miles and still going strong with my UR pulleys. Can't really tell that they do anything, but they haven't caused any problems that I've seen.

You will be fine as long as you dont have a high powered stereo setup. Also at a stop if you have the AC on the battery power will start to decrease, but while driving everything is fine.

Thanks Glen
