Default Nismo Ground Wire Install

My Nismo Ground Wire Kit came with no instructions except where each wire is supposed to go. This should be good, but I have no clue exactly where i am supposed to bolt these things. Does anyone have pictures or can tell me where the exact mounting points for all the wires go. Thanks.

thats going to look nice mike.

i would say blot them to the biggest hunks of steel i could find in the car (i.e. block, frame ect.) that will give you the best ground. but remember make it look good.

ragtopz - Yeah that would be great. I didn't get any instructions except for what was on the back of the package. Which is pretty much nothing. Thanks.

mike_vegas - Yeah hopefully it should look good. All of the ground wires actually connect to the negative battery terminal with this kit instead of the frame and stuff. Are you going to go to the open track day a week from this coming Sat.?

one snag that i had that maybe i can save you from... (then again, you are probably smarter than i am).

anyways, for that battery terminal adapter, make sure that the stock clamp is seated ALL the way on the bottom of the adapter or else it will be VERY loose. i thought i had it all the way down, but there was still a little lower it could have gone. the stock clamp was able to spin on the adapter. i just lowered it a bit more and it was able to clamp securely.

also, this kit seems to have very little slack. so it seems it isnt really made to be a blingy set. i figured that if i couldnt make it blingy, that i would try to hide the wires as much as possible. i am probably the only one dumb enough to do that. anyways, here is a pic of the way i did mine:

Sweet. Thanks a lot. That should do the trick. Did having the engine cover off make the install alot easier?

you pretty much have to remove the cover to get at the mounting points. it is pretty easy though and you dont have to remove the strut bar if you use a 10 mm closed end wrench for the nuts under the bar.
