I bought a pulley off of a member here but found two dings in the pulley. Do you think it is still safe to install? Will it affect the rotational balance of the pulley or am I just being paranoid?

 

You never know for sure. I would be more worried if the pulley is cast, and less worried if it is forged or billet. Also, I can't really see from these pictures whether the dings are just dents or places where metal has actually been chipped off. You can pm me if you have any other questions.
