All my performance mods MIGHT be for sale
I put my 350Z into the pit wall at Buttonwillow Raceway a few weeks ago. It has been torn down at the body shop and I got a good look at it today. I think it's totalled. My insurance co. is covering the loss because I was at the Performance Driving Clinic, had a driving instructor, and there was no racing or timing equipment. I will probably have to fight with them to get it totalled, but I have a good chance.
You can see from my signature all my mods. Most have been in the car anywhere from 3 months to a year. More details on request. PM me.
I kept all the stock parts, which I will put back in the car before the ins. co. takes posession of their wreck. I just want to get as much $$$ as I can for the big investment I put in the car.
The 350EVO 3.9 final drive ratio (ring and pinion) is brand new and still in the box. The Nismo wheels are nearly perfect, and the Kuhmo tires are about gone, so I will switch them onto the wreck on the stock Track rims before I give it to the ins. co. So the Nismos come with Bridgestone pole position S-03s that have less than 1000 miles on them.
It will be very costly to remove the Nismo cams, Nismo LSD and Tilton clutch and flywheel, which are almost new (cams about a year old). If you are in SoCal and can have the mechanical skills to remove these parts and replace the originals, you can have the performance parts very cheap.
This is all contingent on my ins. co. agreeing to total the car.

It's a lot cheaper for you to drive to SoCal, than for the car to be flatbedded to SLO, which costs at least $5 - $6 a mile. If my ins. co. agrees to total the car, I think you should consider a trip to L.A. with your favorite Z mechanic to pull all the goodies out (and replace the original parts - that is part of the deal).

The Crawford plenum is an early version and is powder coated light silver. Here's a pic. Please remember that I can't sell the parts unless my ins. co. agrees to total the car. I also have the Crawford strut brace, as you can see.

Ouch~! Sorry to see/hear that man. Sounds like you're taking it well though.
Good luck with insurance, I'm surprised really, and one good way to put the past behind ya...start looking for the next ride.

IF my ins. co. totals the Z, my next ride is an '05 EVO RS. $27,000 for a car that does 0 - 60 mph in 4.4 seconds, as tested by Motor Trend. Shid happens. Anything that doesn't kill me makes me stronger.

Thanks for the advice. I'm still waiting for my apology from you for smearing my reputation at motoring by claiming that I was blackbastard5. Feel free to provide a belated apology now.
P.S. Did you pass that silly California Bar exam yet?

Richard-- I"ll bring my "fav" tech aka bro down w/ me and pick up those cams and flywheel/clutch combo if the price is right... at least the cams though for sure. Just let me know when and we'll be there. Also, we can probably replace most the other stuff for you if you want, even if I don't buy it.
