Default Engine Life?

Does anyone know how long the engine life will be after installing a supercharger? I'm thinking of putting one in after the manufacture's warranty expires.

I think that it depends on how you drive it. A centrifugal SC does not really build much boost until the higher RPM range. If you drive it conservatively, it *should* last a long time. If every stop light/sign is the final round of the US Nationals, it isn't going to last as long. A roots type SC like the Stillen unit should put a little more stress on the engine during normal driving but, I doubt that it is too much more. Again, it all goes back to driving style.
