VQRacer,
Do you know what length of wire you need instead if you choose to use the copper grounding point as mentioned by someone instead of where you decided to attach the wire? Thanks.

Try Auto-Zone or the like, sometimes they have tools you can use or an electrical/electronics supply, they may even crimp it/solder it for you.

VQ,
Where did you get the lug that attaches to the battery, not the 9 others you mention?

Still no go. Can't find it. Anyone have any LINKS to these grounding kits? Thanks!

ok, well since I havent seen anyone else ask it I will.

any comments on the possibilities of that exhaust O2 sensor ground?

and if I understood it right, the ground is really just useful since it is coupled with wires. helping them keep a steady current and sheild it from interference.

is that about right?

ok... I read it again, so the engine just produces less noice from better grounding, which makes the signals to the ECU cleaner. I think...

but still, any plant to toss the Z on a lift, and soder a cable to the exhaust near the Air sensor and then run it to the frame somewhere near there? that would accomplish the task right?

see I must still be confused, cant you just run the wire to any part of the frame and use that as ground? or does it have to go to the engine compartment?

or do you mean just running from the exhaust to the frame is too long? not sure where the O2 sensor is positioned in relation to the frame.

If you reread the thread you will find it explained, multiple times IIRC.

Hmm, I now have a grounding system, but my installation has been foiled by one stupid thing. I have no socket wrench, nor do I know anybody near who does. This is not good.

Where can one find the colored 4 gauge Monster cable. I assume Home depot and the likes will not carry this.

where did you purchase the lugs from? Pepboys didn't have them (or anything else), but they did have a socket set for 3 bux

Also where did you get your crimper from and how much?

Thanks
