Default Anyone with ACT clutch/Nismo flywheel?

My Tranny is going to be replaced in the next couple of weeks.

I have decided to go with the ACT street clutch, this kit includes these components:
N-021 - Heavy Duty Pressure Plate
NSD140S - Performance Street Disc
RB130 - Release Bearing
Torque Capacity: 517 ft/lbs.

and the Nismo flywheel. Is anyone running that combo? How do you like it?

Stuart

The combo has worked well for the street. No track time yet with it. Clutch peddle effort about the same, driveability is good.

Even though I can tell the Nismo flywheel helps the engine rev easier, I would go with a lighter flywheel next time. Nismo really isn't all that different from stock.

What other mods do you have?

you might want to check out the RPS flywheel and the unorthodox racing one, or JWT. They range between 13-18 pounds, so should be a significant difference over stock. They also have replaceable surfacing. unfortunately they are kinda pricey

Is it okay to mix the flywheel and clutch? I was thinking of getting the unorthodox flywheel with the jwt clutch? Or is it OKAY to just get the flywheel such as the unorthodox with the stock clutch??

Alot of people have been mix and matching there flyweel combos. For the most part the flywheels are relatively similar except the tilton which is the lightest at 8 pounds but is not recomended for street use.
