Default what the diffrence between these?

vortech SC and HKS SC? also what one would be better for a auto trans? I am guessing its better for one not to start pulling to after 2500rpm?

For a street driven Automatic with OEM (not hi-stall) TQ converter
the better choice is one that provides "more TQ at a "ower" RPM.

And that one would be?

I beleive the Rotrex unit (aka HKS) provides a lower TQ profile than the Vortech. But don't take this as religion.

One thing for sure, if you could live with the Stillen Hood bump, it by far provdes a better TQ profile for a street driven OEM Automatic. Neither Vortech or Rortrex can provide the near instant TQ of a Roots or Twinscrew.

the HKS is going to be far superior when it comes to reliability and low end torque - the Vortech, imo, changes the make-up of the torque curve too much (although it rewards you with excellent top-end power) - for street driving, it's going to be hard to find a better system than the HKS however...

Not to argue, but the Stillen SC kicks **** on the HKS for low end TQ. No other FI method (NOS not included) beats a Roots or Ts from this aspect. I just wouldn't put up with the required hood bulge.
