Default Whats the diffrence?

Guys..
Looking at buying a aftermarket Y pipe to put on my factory exhaust. What is the diffrence between the factory oem Y pipe and let's say a Stillen Y pipe?

Im confused

Honestly the Y is probably the strongest piece of the exhaust. It is also the last piece I have/will upgrade. You will get more of a gain just for a better flowing "Y" back exhaust, and HF cats or test pipes. The real gains on replacing the Y are the weight (ie no heat shields) and mainly the sound. I have heard you can get up to 5hp give or take, but I don't know that I believe that. After all our resonator is on the section of pipe after the Y, which if there was a drawback it would be there.

So, what im saying is, wait until you get all the other exhaust pieces you want first, then think about you Y.
