Question Car stalling at warm startup

I notice this issue has been brought up a few times on other threads, but no one has really gotten a definitive answer yet. I have been running with a JWT popcharger for a few thousands miles now, and every so often, my car would stall at a warm startup. It didn't happen before with the popcharger, so I can't really say that is the problem. The car would start, rpm goes up and then sinks down below 500rpm and the car struggles and dies. I would have to give it some gas inorder to keep it alive. I was just curious if anyone has nail down a solution yet, or even having the same problem. Is it a finicky MAF sensor, or maybe something more serious?? Just looking for some feedback. Thanks for your help!!

Not sure what the case is with your problem. I would suggest to refresh the ECU and check the fuses.

Here is my story... When I put my JWT on my car it ran ok for 2 weeks or so... but it stalled on me one time at about 15mph and turned off. I could not start the car again, had to tow it to the dealership and refresh the ECU and the keys. I took the JWT off before towing it to the service so the dealership would not start flamming me.

I have the 03 model if that matter.

Thanks for the reply. A quick question though...when you say refresh of ECU, is that dealer performed only? I know we can pull the battery cable, but does that work for a 6mt as well as automatics? I didn't think that applied to us 6mt people. What should we be checking for in fuses? Just curious, what did the dealers diagnosis of the problem?

I haven't had the problem where the car would die when actually in gear or put into neutral. It just happens when the car engine is warm and you try to restart it. Although a few times in stop and go traffic and I push down on the clutch, I see the rpm drop pretty low close to 500rpm and then go back up, but there are times I think it might die, but it hasn't yet.

I also have a 03, but it is a G35 coupe, 6mt with a popcharger and Z tube.

^check your maf sensor, it could be dirty.
If it is you can use some 99.9% proof alcohol to clean it.

Any chance you removed your TB or intake tube for any particular reason, recently? If so I would check for leaks.

Dump the popcharger. Get a revup airbox or Stillen intake. Reset the ECU, perform idle learn procedure. Without knowing anything else about your problem, this is more likely to solve it than anything else.

Lmao, I should have been clear.
Use 99% Isopropyl Alcohol or a non corrosive electronic's cleaner.
