For those who raised their idle for this setup, is there any way to raise the idle beside using ECU Reflash? (I have a 04.5 Z)
Thanks guys for the help!!
I have to admit - I live in S. Florida so I can not answer your cold start question. There is absolutely no change for me when starting the car in the moring (except the sound).

you should imagine the tilton setup in hawaii..... hills are not your friends....... ive learned to slip this thing real good and its helps drivability but im gonna be pulling it out at 35k to see the wear......

on another note harldy anyone can drive my car.... so i get to go to the special places in the back of shops to pick it up.........

MOST DRIVERS HERE MUST SUCK......

for the drivers having a hard time.... my idle is at 1100... by accident though TS and Nissan both raised the idle and i have yet to send it to TS top get fixed...... and the dealers in HAWAII will not touch the idle.......

Practice starting from a stop without using the gas pedal.... it may be hard but can be done....... once you get this deown good you will be driving a whole lot better...... i can stop and go with only squealing 25% of the time.....

ditto on seeing the back of shops frequently -- my idle is rock solid at 700... burbles a little bit once in a while, especially if i've been flogging it, but feels nice and doesn't even think about stalling

Cause as u know motor movement is a big deal for the tilton owners.....

anyone have a pulley??? how did that work out with the tilon setup???? and has there been a determination on weather or not it damages your motor

I though i hear something about balance a few months ago???? maybe like 6 months

I've got the pulley with the Tilton. The Tilton is so dramatic that you can't really notice any difference.

i dunno -- i put them on at the same time and it revs like an f1 car -- i'd just imagine that any weight you can take off the crank would help

don't worry about balancing... there are two different types of engines, those that are internally balanced and those that are externally balanced... for example, my 85 volvo is externally balanced, so i would not be able to swap out crank pulleys, as the stock one is the proper weight / dampened so that i won't shake my block to pieces. The VQ35DE engine (on the Z) is internally balanced, so you can put whatever crank pulley you want on there with no problems.

just thought i'd throw this in, last night i was driving barefoot and noticed I could control the car a little better because of the extra feel.
