$140 to "dress up the engine bay" .... I hope this will be for car shows or something.
I like UT, their y-pipe kicksasss, but this is not really a functional piece, and I am trying to let some buyers know that this will give no gains (most likely)

I believe most pple buy CF products for aesthetics over functionality. Don't get me wrong, CF products saves weight and looks great! Anyhow, It's personal preference.

The overall diameter of the tube is 3 1/8" and the inside measures just shy of 3".
2 15/16" to be precise. I don't think you'll lose any power there!
Hope that helps.

You're right, most of the time, it's a matter of aesthetics over performance gain, unless we're talking about hardcore CF upgrades like CF hatches and doors. But one thing I'd like to know is whether the inner diameter is smaller than stock. I don't mind if I don't gain any performance, but I certainly don't want to lose performance. Can you please confirm?

i think they already lowered the price for the introductory gb.
i think the regular price is $175 and they are now selling it for $140 shipped.
still kinda pricey for just a tube, imo. but it sure does look nice!
they have chrome or polished for lower price, if that helps any.

just for reference purposes, the stock tube at the local Nissan dealerships sell for $99.00. Also the CF tube in the beginning of this thread looks different from the one on the UTR website.

If everyone keeps posting, we may get somewhere. Thanks for backing me. I understand we are paying for time, materials, production, ect!! But $100 for a tube is still a good profit. I'm in the aftermarket industry and know the cost of producing several carbon fiber and Urathane products.
We love your product, we just want a good deal if you can get more people to purchase!!
Thanks

I love the way it looks, but the price yeah it's too high for me. If this is just the introductory price, then I will never be buying one, I try to keep aesthetic mods at $100 or less. Looks great though!
