Post 2004.5 Base - Open differential?

Considering the Nismo GT LSD that Jason pointed out.

I was wondering if the base model is open differential?

I haven't looked under my car yet since she hasn't had her first oil change

Yes, all 2003-2005 Base models are open differential.

Cattman Peformance (www.cattman.com) has a Quaife ATB differential available for the 95-01 Maximas...and it "might" work in the 02-05 Altima 5-speeds since I believe the two cars have very similiar transmissions.
