Been using Mobil-1 for 3 years now and the store I normally buy my oil from had a bargain today.

Regular price, $4.75 a quart, on sale today for $3.13, BTW I pay no tax. Needless to say, I just changed Mobil-1 in both my vehicles last week,

However, I picked up 3 cases, , enough to last me all of next year for both my vehicles.

Now I just need to find oil filters on sale!

 

What oil filters do you prefer?

 

I normally get the Fram Double Guard, but I heard the K&N was much better.

 

You can buy a five quart jug for 20 bucks at wal mart. Mobil one filters are good, they are made by the same company that makes the k&n ones.

 

Thanks for the info...made up my mind to go synthetic..... picked up 2 cases of Mobile 1 from Sams myself...... was doing some research on oil filter choices....plenty of info....decided to ask instead of wading through all of the studies!

At Costco a case (6 quarts) goes for $23.00.Thats where i buy my oil.

 

Same here, but I think it goes for closer to $24 in my area. There isn't a whole selection to choose from at Costco, but at least they have the good ole Mobil 1

 

Total per case was $18.78 and the good part is, I didn't pay tax. And thats 6 quarts verses the 5 quart for $19.78 at Wal-Mart/

So I saved a few dollars. All about the $.
