Track model and brembos
Does anyone else here hate the fact that barely any wheels fit the track model unless you spend like 4k on a set of multipiece custom wheels? If I could find a set that cleared the calipers I would love life

My thoughts on that are: Why would you want to downgrade the rims? The rims that come on it are forged Rays Engineering, so why would you go with anything less? Upgrade not downgrade.

Racing Hart CP-F tuned wheels are extremely lightweight and will fit over the Brembos.
However, they are $4000 with tires.
You have to realize that the rays Treack wheels are very high quality and sell from dealers for $4000+

Has anyone tried to fit a 17" wheel on the Brembos? Will it fit? I was thinking about getting 17" for the track, because there are more tire options for 17". My current track set (a second set of OEM Track rims) works great, but the tire replacements are getting too expensive.

Look, unless you plan on hitting the track anytime soon don't worry too much about wheel weight. On the street you'd be lucky to tap into 60% of what this car is capable of. Besides, our cars aren't exactly Miatas. A little bit of extra weight on a 3300 pound isn't that noticeable. Buy a set of reasonably priced 19" wheels and enjoy making heads turn.

maybe he wont track the car ... but I have to admit
the switch from the track wheels to the racing harts above was the worst thing I have done to the handling of my car yet. The heavier weight (23lbs) combined with the softer sidewall of the toyo 19s totally killed the "sportiness" i was used to in the car
I have since added Hotchis' tvs1 package and I know am happy with the way it handles .... but I cannot help but wonder what it would be like with the old rays wheel on the new suspension

Yes 17s fit over brembo.s Even the base model's 17's clear.
I went from the stock 17's (non rays) to 18 inch Works with T1S's and every aspect of the car improved. 19's would look even better though for the roads we have here, would not be practical
