Exclamation Dynoed today, running way too lean, Please HELP!! (bone stock)

Went to dyno my bone stock Z today, and here are the numbers.
The HP and Stock # seems about right since my car is bone stock w/ about 2250 miles on the clock. I was running 91oct gas. The worst part is the A/F ratio, which barely met ~13 @ 3200-3800rpms, and the rest was way too lean.
Any advice or tunning can be done to bring it run richer?
Is that normal for a bone stock Z just barely broken it?
TIA

*Sorry about the pic, I still haven't received my copy of graph from e-mail so i just took a pic with my digi-cam.
SAE smoothing is 0

could be anything where did they clip the a/f ratio clip, on the muffler? Those are really not accurate.

Correct. The measurements taken from the tailpipe will be slight erratic and will show an A/F that is approx. 0.5 to 0.9 leaner than if the measurement were taken in front of the cat, which is more accurate. I'm not an expert, but that's what I've seen.

if the car is bone stock, might pay to take a trip to the dealer and show them the dyno sheet.

If you want, I can post a scan of my stock dyno chart (04, done last September) for comparison - IIRC I think I had AFR done at the tailpipe then as well (Dynojet 248C)

This is my first dyno ever so i wasn't too sure. But what i saw is they put a clip somewhere in the engine bay and they also put a long metal wire into the tailpipe. Was the metal wire they put into the tailpipe for the measurement of the A/F ratio? or the clip in the engine bay?

Z1 performance: Please do post your bone stock dyno chart if you don't mind.

THanks alot guys.

What are your driving habits? Are you usually pretty chill with the car? If so, it's going to be running leaner... on the premise of fuel conservation.

Of all your runs, which on one was this? The first? Fifth? Tenth??

Give us a better understanding of how you drive this car.

well, i am not driving the car like i stole it, but i also don't drive like a grandma. I average about 360-380 mile/tank of gas.
The 3 runs i have done are pretty much lean out and i have never dyno my car b4. Let me know if you need any more info. Thanks Phoenix INX

lol...you drive it closer to grandma than you do aggressively if you get 360-380 miles per tank. I get lucky to see over 300.

Being that you are completely stock and that the stock stoich is 14.7 for fuel effeciency, I don't think your #'s are that off. I can't see what your AF#'s are exactly, but it looks around 14ish.

Umm....I would NOT, absolutely NOT, show anyone at a dealership a dyno chart....

If you ever need something warranteed their first response will be no because of abuse of the car by dynoing it. Have a reputable tuner look at the car and find out what's up with the car.

LOL the reason i get 360-380 out of a tank is because 80% of my driving is on highway
Would lots of highway/conservative driving play a role on a lean A/F ratio?

Yes....your ECU is used to keeping the car at 14.7 AF for the best fuel effeciency and emmisions. I usually drive my car aggressively when heading to the dyno, that way it will have learned and adjusted to the driving style. You're obviously treating the car pretty aggressively on the dyno.

Hey whats up Mike. I figured I'd post in here for you

Tail sniffers at the MOST are 1pt off. So for you guys saying its ok, its just the tail sniffer, I wouldn't go as far to say that.

My guess is that you told me you got some crappy gas that day (from what you believe and I agree). That plays a factor with your timing (even though you are on a stock ECU). Also, your car ist STILL a baby. Which means its still breaking in. Dyno at 10k miles and I gurantee that your results will be different if you are still stock.

Most Z's and G's run in the area of 14.5-15.5 ( stock ) in my experience. just by messing with a/f you can pull an extra 5hp and 5fttq at the wheels but you can only do that with an ecu flash some sort of FMU. Grubbs has a laptop adjustable FTC fuel timing calibrator with 4 channels of data acquisition

the thing they put in your engine was to measure your engine rpm. They put it on a coil pack wire.
