I beg to differ. I thouroughy thrashed this shifter in testing and it never had a problem. Being that the adjustment is just a locking color that only moves up and down on a solid stainless steel shaft you would have to be pulling up or pushing down on it with such force as to brake the also solid stainless collar and stainless ball bearing locks. Its been on my car for months and has never had a problem. And trust me I abuse my car. This shifter will hold up to anything you can throw at it. The entire shaft is one solid piece of stainless steel.

Since it is adjustable there are varying throws. Based on mine and others observation

First setting: Longer than stock throws by about 10-15%
Second setting: Same as stock
Third Setting: about 15-20% shorter than stock
Fourth Setting: About 25-35% shorter than stock.

The last setting is where I drive mine at and its seriously a VAST difference between that and stock

The third is pretty fluid ..... the fourth got a lil too notchy for me. I really liked the 3rd setting.

The long hard moving adjustable shaft is made of solid 304 stainless (?) or something like that. I forgot the number but I know its solid stainless. And yes you can sock it up to your hearts desire..

Seriously though, protocav, JimRhit, erock, SickG35, Brimst0ne, and others have driven my car with the shifter. They can give you very good opinions of it as well as I.

Does the Mossy rattle in any of the settings upon hard accel or decel , with hand-off? I've had my Rouge fro a year now and under certain circumstances it will audibly rattle.
