I talked to Steve at Mossy today. The rattleing issue has been solved . I will most likely get my hands on one this weekend at the Show .

I have the Rogue short shifter. Has anyone here compared the two? I personally like the Rogue but feel it is a little notchy.

So does the shifter change the throw by changing the shifter height, or is the throw already shortened regardless of height?

The shifter changes the throw by adjusting the height. BTW the fix to resolve the rattling was very simple. The stock Nissan Shift cup was the problem all along. Because of the way it sites in the housing it allows movement between it and the mounting area. This caused the assembly to vibrate. Fast Shift resolved it by using some rubber o rings on the shift cup to stop the vibration. Their design is vibration free.

Default 17-4 stainless steel

The shifter adjusts both above and below the fulcrum. When you release the locking collar from the highest position, the shifter handle drops down, lowering the shift **** at the same time lengthening the shifter below the fulcrum, therefore shortening the throw both above and below. The shifter arm is a solid piece of 17-4 stainless steel that is hardened to 40 Rockwell along with some of the important internals. Basically stronger than the same material in a forged steel crankshaft. Your gonna break your arm before you can even bend this baby.

I have a B&M Short Shifter.. It is way too notchy and must be slammed into gear. Will your shifter at the stock setting be just as fluid as stock?

Default as fluid as stock?

This is an adjustable shifter. There are four positions of adjustment.

1. Upper position, 20% longer than stock, very fluid, your girl will love it.

2. Down one notch, Stock position, the same throw length and feeling as stock.

3. Down another notch, first short position, 20% shorter than stock.

4. Down to bottom notch, second short position, 40% shorter than stock.

This can all be done while sitting in the drivers seat with your right hand on the shifter **** and your left hand around the dust boot pulling on the release ring. No different than changing the angle of your steering wheel.

It really did not seem to me that its a short throw shifter it looks like it just adjusts the top to make it look like one. the throw seem the same to me at all levels on that video. just my .02

changing the setting was definitely noticeable. Maybe the vid did not illustrate it well, but the feeling is surely not negligeable. I like the shifter as is, otherwise I would be getting this one.

It is an adjustable HEIGHT shifter... Not a short throw shifter like the B&M / Rogue...
