I heard that if my knock sensor was retarding timing to 10 degrees at wide open throttle i should throw a check engine light. Is this true because i do not have one on. I had 240 hp after the first reflash and cam install. I still have 240 hp even after I bought new valves, and ported and polished the heads. I had 255 hp before i got the reflash and cams installed in my z. I know the cams are in correct because i had opened it up 3 times to make sure. I thought i might of had a timing chain jump so i took off the heads and had new valves put in. With a port and polish job, honed and polished intakes; I still have 240hp. Since the reflash I have only 240 hp, and it does not change no matter what i do. Its almost as if my program is wrong, but Technosqaure says it looks fine. So im confused now i have to have my dyno tech run a scanner on my Z to see what exactly is going wrong.
If anyone can help please give me some info, because im going nuts here and dont know what to do anymore. Should i have my stock program put back in my Z?
Thanks everyone
Sincerely Glen

Before i get my ecu flashed back to stock i am going to check the valve lifters for the correct clearance from the cams after the valve job. Maybe the valve lifters are to loose or tight like you all have stated and thats why i have valve noise. I will keep you all updated.
Thanks everyone for you help
