Yes, I did. I also did some very minor work on the intake side of the heads. Everything from the venturi ring on my popcharger was portmatched to the intake manifold/cylinder head interface.

heres come pics of what i've done so far, about $40 in dremel accessories! anyone have any suggestions b4 i put in back on? i'm also polishing up the upper plenum inside and out. will that cause it to run really hot? since its the roughness that supposedly keeps it cool?

Nice dog, he's really movin'

It's hard to tell from the pics whether it's really rough or just odd lighting.
I would get some 80 grit and just smooth things out a bit.

ok guys, the lower plenum is going on tomorrow. i willl tune it using my utec and i will check my accelerometer and see if it pulls harder. i drive around alll the time and know the hardest it will pull in each gear with my best map on the utec.

updates tomorrow and i will take a few more pics of it after i got it back from the welding shop

if it works, it can all be done for about 125 at most from any shop that can weld aluminum. you will have to be able to tune it.

i hope my peak hp doesnt move off of my rpm range

yea thats my dog. lol

its pretty smooth, that with 120 grit. (i desided that the 60 grit left to make scratches that where not smooth.) its "smooth to the touch", it just has a lot of little "divites" that i created and it would take way more accessories and work to get them all out.

Good luck on your results. Its good to see what a significant departure from the norm will produce.

All he has to do is stay ahead of the competition, not to mention plastering his brand name to the point where competitors don't really stand a chance.
Bingo!!!!

Well... 13 pages of interesting reading... and not a damn thing proven yet in terms of performance.
