Realized I never posted pics of my pulley delete. I did this when I had my engine built:
Just dont be like me and forget to torque the tensioner pully nut down. The pulley flew off during one of my post-tune pulls, lol. Luckily it landed on the charge pipe so it wasn't lost.

Thanks again QuadCam for the writeup. I just got around to doing this tonight. It was pretty straight forward, but my PS bracket to idler pulley bracket clearance was very tight. It took a lot of prying and actually had to use a prybar at one point to get the idler bracket out.
I cut mine like you did to get the spacer. getting the spacer piece back in place was tough too, it definetly didnt just slide in or out.
One other thing I had to do was cut down the two 17mm bolts because they seemed to bottom out in the threads with about 5mm to go. Did you have to do that?
Just have to pick up a shorter belt tomorrow and im all set. good free mod, thanks!

spoilsofwar i noticed that you did not replace the 2 17mm bolts. dont you think that they are more functional than just holding down the idler bracket? I would think that they go through the timing cover and into the block and also add support to the timing cover... anyway I reused mine.

Did mine yesterday, my idles bearing was toast. I ended up with a 450k6 belt instead of the 455k6. If you look up the belt for a late model DE it calls for the 450K6.

I Did this Mod last night, I took about an hour. My bearing was going bad so it was a perfect mod. The belt cost $25, I used the part number 25-060435 and it fit no problem. I would like to think it picked up some power but you never now!
