Pulling this up from the dead. Just reading up on HPDE cars and seen this thread. Did anyone figure out the oil drop issues with the large coolers?

There is no issue here. Pretty much every track car runs this setup. Still going years later.

 

just remember , when you have top mounted ports, one needs to used some pressurized air to blow that dirty oil back out when you change the oil.
Wish I could find a better way than unhooking my sandwich plate AN fitting every time.. might look for a quick connector.

 

swapped these fittings out to the correct push lock yesterday, but here's where I had mine done.. ran the push lock hose behind the radiator, and is protected by the splitter frame we made.






Other side is overkill, and just to keep the look symmetric, the core is the power steering fluid.
