Just wanted to let everyone know that I am still here... lol
Trying to get scheduling right with me and Stewart so we can finish wiring.. But lets just say I have bought my fluids so it should not be much longer.
I have also been working on getting the livestream stuff ready for when the time comes for startup... Once we come up with a date/time I will let everyone know..
Thanks

So a little update on the car...

Before we start lets kick it off with a beer.. This is Yuengling, a very very nice beer and a treat to us TX boys when we get our hands on it cause they don't sale it here.

Yeaaaa!!! car left last weekend to Dallas to finish wiring.

I would like to say it is in good hands at Stew's house.. If the other cars in the drive way does not make you happy I don't know what will..

Was my B-Day weekend and this is what was waiting for me at Stew's house.. Always the best time with good friends

Let me say this.. My car is a ***** to push.. With welded diff, ****ed up alignment, no brakes.. Yeah its a pain..

Well as we speak he is finishing up the wiring, and cutting/welding my fender arches for my overs.. Should be done very very soon.. Let's hope the next time I update this thread is with a start up clip..

But something is coming for that..
Just read through the whole thread today, and man! One of the best builds I've ever seen. I loved seeing everything come together from the ground up, and the cost along the way was a nice touch. You definitely have some money in the car, but the quality of work and parts makes it all worth it.
One question though - what made you switch headlights? Your original ones looked like they were in good shape. Regardless, amazing build my friend. I'm in for the results (and a live stream of the first start).

Well my OEM headlights tabs were all broken, so decided to switch it up and see how these look.. Still on the fence with them. But I will tell you one thing if they do not look good once the car is all once color they are out the door and I will get my hands on some OEM ones once again..

Here is a pic of the fender cut and welded. Still have to clean them up and waterproofed them.. but you get the idea.. Overs will go over these fenders..

Shiiiiit!! probably...lol but in my opinion well worth it..

So this happen over the weekend. If any one knows me then you should know my love for SquareBody Duallys.. Well need a Tow Pig to take my car to events once done so finally picked up a 77' Chevy C30 454 with Th400 Trans.. And if you know me this will have everything replaced on it and new paint as well as being bagged on 22"fronts and 24" rear.. And end goal will be with a 6BT 12v Cummins.. That is another build that will take 3 years but I am okay with that..

Oh and this happen.. "let there be light",, Getting closer
