Default LS2 drift swap

I have wanted to go LS for awhile now. Picked up the LS2 for a good deal so I guess I'm starting my new build/part out now. Now I'm deciding between the fueled racing swap kit or the sikky kit. And if I want to use the t56 or use a Collins adaptor and use the cd09 I have.

Pic for you^ I'm deployed so unfortunately I can't start the build yet. Just buying the parts and having my buddies send me pics as the stuff comes.

I'm switching to the ls because I love the sound and torque of a v8. Plus parts are cheap easy to work on. I bought the ls2with 45kmiles on it with all the accessories and extra stuff for $3k.

the t56 is a rock solid transmission, you could look into the tremec tr-6060 transmission that the corvettes switched to in 08

I bought the ls2 from a local in Oklahoma city. He's having a baby so it needed to go. I've been looking into the Collins adaptor plate and using my z tranny. But I have heard mixed reviews. Also need to decide on a swap kit. Fueled racing or sikky. both good kits to me

Good luck on the swap.... I also co-sign for the Sikky kit. They have redesign the oil pan, and shifter so every thing is pretty much on point now..

I have a Fueled Racing kit and have no complaints. Their customer service has been great as well.
