I'll start by saying this was a long project. I wanted to do this without useing a swap kit and made everything my self. Needless to say I installed, made mounts and so on more than a handful of times and wasted more money on parts then I want to count !
My gauge set up, some cheap sunpro gauges in the stock three gauge holder, a speedhut tach and a APSX D2 wide band in teh door vent
I have a DBC TB so drilled a hole in the stock pedal to hook the cable, alot of adjustment but got it right. Then a hurst promatic 2 installed and working with the stock 350Z shifter boot (was a 6 speed car)
1st motor was junk (think it set for to long or go some dirt in it over the years) so pulled it and swapped in a another junkyard 5.3 and the new motor sounds awesome. Did to finish getting it back together then time for a tune
Gonna get it tuned in the next week or two and then some full boost vids, planning on running around 15psi
I had alot of people asking about how loud it was with it dumped out the drivers side bumper so I just made a little vid (this is with both windows down
In the drivers seat it sounds awesome. Last night rolled into it a little over half throttle and it builds boost so fast, was at 7lbs before I knew it and going 80 in a 45 could have been bad if I would have passed a cop.
