Default Need help after a swap of the same engine but different make model

I have a 2003 Nissan 350z, I’ve blown the engine and had to replace it. I found a similar engine from a 2003 infinity g35, so we made the swap… here’s where the problem came. we had everything bolt up fine like it should but the car is having idleing problems Im kinda new to this mechanic area we have taken it to a mechanic who helped us with the swap and he says that the car is having trouble synchronizing with timing and i need help trying to figure out what this issue is, could it be a ecu and harness problem? I’ve changed all spark plugs, coils, but we can’t figure out what the problem is. if I’m missing out in some information, let me know to see if it helps more with the problem

Welcome- moved your thread to a more appropriate forum. The first question to be asked is: have you pulled any codes from the onboard diagnostic system?

If the pins are the same and the G donor ran well the logical next step is to install the donor ECU.

you probably swapped two coil packs on the driver side, 4 and 6.

Also check your ground for coil packs is secure on timing cover.
