I looked around and I don't think iv seen someone with a 5AT LS, I have a pretty decent amount of knowledge on the subject but I could be wrong that the average CD009 adapter plates wouldn't work with a 5AT? or if someone has seen an adapter plate who sells it. the LS block sitting in my room is very curious.

 

Will the Nissan 5at handle the power ?

 

a stock one? probably not but with an upgraded valve body and torque converter probably

 

why not go with a T56 trans?

*edit, reread and you want an auto, 5L50-E trans...(i think). vettes have a transaxle, so you will need something from a gto or cadi xlr

 

The manual and automatic share the same bolt pattern.

 

I was curious about the Nissan 5at that comes in 350z's and if it would work when paired up with an LS if not that would probably be the next best bet
