why would sucha pricey exhaust use that huge 3 bolt clamp instead of a nice compact V-band?

This clip was made just after the purchase WITH silencer!!!
Meanwhile i drive the car (Exhaust) without the silencer and i can tell you, the sound is dammn freaky!!

Will try to take a new Video tonight and post it. Hopefully it's not that dark when i get the time to do it...

This thread was originally posted when the exhaust was first released, in 2008. V bands weren't very popular back then.
