Default Electric Water Pumps at R/T Tuning!!!

Most modifications are a balance between positives and negatives. Rarely does something come along that tips the scales so heavy towards the positive side with very little in the way of downsides.

One such modification is a DaviesCraig electric water pump and R/T Tuning is your retailer for such a cool mod!

These electric water pumps can be used to replace your OEM belt driven pumps to free up drag on the motor and provide better cooling as well when compared to an OEM water pump when used with the Digital Controller. We have a pump that flows 80 liters per minute which is great for 4 cylinder cars making up to 400hp or a 115 liter per minute pump which will cool even the most hardcore of racecars. By reducing parasitic drag on the engine you will see better fuel economy, and more horsepower/torque to the wheels.

Making these even cooler is the micro processor driven Digital Controller which allows you to set a desired coolant temperature (167°, 176°, 185°, 194° or203°F) and the controller will keep the car at that temperature by altering the speed of the water pump and radiator fans. You can even set the controller to maintain coolant circulation until a desired temperature is met after you shut the car down!

Some fabrication will be required to eliminate that belt driven dinosaur which we are fully equipped to help you out with. Give us a call to discuss pricing on a universal pump kit or a fully installed package!

nope, ours is fully internal. The lower right cover on the front timing cover is where the wp resides. chain driven and not the easiest to replace.

It will depend on which size you are looking for. There is to flow sizes that would be applicable to most cars here.

EWP80 (12 volt only) - for engines up to 3 litres "naturally aspirated"

EWP115 (12 & 24 volt only) - for V8 engines, heavy duty 4WDs or over 400HP

The EWP80 will run you about $200 at our intro pricing. The EWP115 will run you about $220 at our intro pricing.

One full time road race car and one pro drift car will be running these pumps for the 2011 season! Track tested and abused so they will kick *** on your street car!
