Even with requesting a step down to standard studs instead of the L19s above, this last invoice puts me at 6052.75 and does not include the 1500 dollar core, the 350 charged for shipping, or the 500 dollar rush charge... thats just the parts and assembly. I had to read it a few times to make sure of what i was looking at....
Im quite confused how my engine price is nearly double the 3690- stated above...... care to ellaborate? If not i understand..

 

^bmccann101, I left you a voicemail to talk about it - feel free to give me a call for further clarification. The $3690 above is for a long block. You requested a quote on a complete engine. Those are two different things - a long block is just a block with heads torqued down. Your quote was for a complete assembled engine including new oil pump, gasket kit, cleaning and assembly, etc as detailed on your itemized quote.

 

ah i see, so that invoiced price includes full new timing gear, covers, etc etc then i assume.. ?

 

lets re do those quotes for long block only please.. sorry about the confusion. Im ok to swap all my periphery and timing gear over to a new long block.

std studs, crower sportsman rods, maybe even just a Cometic head gasket versus HKS.
