that all makes sense. though 3.78L is possible on a stock crank with a 100mm bore, but not safe without sleeves
I believe you have .020" over pistons, not .200" over.....
20 over is 20 thousandths of an inch, not 200
The 3.78 on your spec sheet is in INCHES, 3.78 inches is the diameter of the pistion, = 96mm, stock bore is 95.5mm or 3.76", so 1/2 a mm over, or about .020
It's more like a 3.536 Liter, VS 3.498 Liter Stock

Sorry for the late reply, work has been busy. You are correct, I forgot to add the 0 in front of the .20 over. Here is a link to exactly what I have:
http://www.importpartspro.com/cpvq96pi07ni.html
So yes, .020 overbore.

The spec sheet that the engine shop gave me is accurate however. Like I say, I'm not an expert when it comes to the exact measurements, but the spec sheet is what they gave me. Does it make sense yet now? Or do I need to give you some different kind of info?

Ok, on Monday I am going to go by there and get the correct spec sheet. Obviously the date is wrong on the top of the spec sheet I have as well so I must have got that one by mistake. On my end, my mistake is putting .20 instead of the correct .020 overbore. I shall fix that in my description right now.

So I just talked to the Machine Shop, I am going to try to break free from work today and get there before they close but that might not happen. So at the very latest I will have confirmation on the specs by tomorrow evening. Thanks for your patience! Any other questions please feel free to ask.

Ok, so I went by the machine shop to get some clarification on the numbers...
The engine was Mic'd BEFORE the bore at 3.7765 as noted on the spec sheet.
The CP pistons are .020 overbore.
The clearance needed to fit those pistons is .0035
Therefore the engine Mic'd AFTER bore is 3.78
Information was confirmed on the spec sheet to be correct, please excuse incorrect date. Oldmanz350: you are correct. The stock diameter is 95.5mm or 3.76~3.7765. This is a 3.5L vq35hr .020 overbore.
I have done the leg work to ensure that what I have is exactly correct. I am willing to make a killer deal with whoever wants to buy this engine now. I will not lose you over profit but please don't try to "steal" the engine either please.
Anymore questions p,ease feel free to ask. Thanks
