SOLD hey guys. I've been slowly parting out my stuff. Most of you have noticed my other threads in the for sale sections here. Anyhow, I'm selling my fully built heads. I bought them from a member on here (or might have been g35driver.... not sure). They were ported and 5 angle valve job was done by SGP racing when I got them from him. They came with +1mm over-sized valves but when I got the heads, the valves were bent! So I took the heads to a machinist/engine builder and he took everything apart. I had the valves replaced with brand new ferrea +1mm oversized valves. New valve guides and seals. The springs are ferrea valve springs. The engine builder got all new cam buckets (maybe I'm using the wrong term. The bucket type things that cover the valves and the cams push down to operate the valve) and measured each one to the proper spec. I told him I was going to use these heads with boost around 10-15 psi and he measured the valve lash properly based on that. Then he decked the heads as well. The cams are JWT s1 cams. I drove to JWT in el cajon, san diego, ca and talked to Jim wolfe himself. He came out to my trunk and measured the cams to verify the size himself. These heads are ready to be put on a motor, NOW. The engine assembly lube is still dripping from the assembly. These are super clean. I'm bummed I never got to use them. Just got to cut my losses and move on.

I see Day Light coming thru the Valves in pic 5 and pic 8, can you explane?

 

I suppose I could rotate the cams to show that they seal properly.

yeah. its just a matter of where the cam lobe is/was sitting for that specific cylinder. I will take some pics of the cams out and everybody will see these seal completely as they should.

also, I am considering taking offers for just the cams, fyi.
