Finally, the weather was on our side! Woke up to wet roads, but it dried up quickly and the sun was trying to come through for us. This was an awesome meet with 25 or so Z's and G's showing up to my house for a late breakfast. Then we were off to a slow start with a line of cars that stretched almost a 1/4 mile.

More pics will be added by some of the other members. By the time we reached our midway destination of Red Wing (yes, home of the shoe company) for lunch, we picked up a few more Z's to the group.

"Since you've been gone...."
Had to make the opener a memorable one, Steve. I think it's time you handed the crown over to me. Muahahahahahaha!
Seriously, I can't believe we had almost 30 cars on this cruise. Everytime I got a good glimpse of the line of cars, it looked like a 1/4 mile long. SICK!

Thanks to everyone who made it and enjoyed the food. Tara and I are beat! She's a trooper! Momma wanted to make sure you guys and gals were all fed, and all I wanted to do was talk shop and drive cars.
It was great meeting the new faces! I hope you guys can get together again. This was a blast, especially Hwy 60. Doug, you really missed out on that one.

. I had a great time and the food was amazing. I put on 360 miles and I'm still on the tank i started with this morning, by far THE best mileage I got out of the G, apparently going 100+ on occasision is a good thing for the VQs
. Take it easy ppl and have a good one, I'll be sure to check back for any future outtings. I'm always down if I can get it off, or call in sick enuf in advance

Ben, I think we should set up another smaller version of Hwy 60. We'll do the drive and space out the cars, have photographers set up at different locations, and people need to bring their radios to call out traffic. Then we can take a break in Zumbrota Falls or at least meet and/or stage there.

How about a rest stop in that pink Pussycat *ahem* ballet?

Zumbrota was pretty much the end of the twisties on the West end. We could meet there, drive east on 60, then return to Zumbrota Falls. There's also that other road near Mazeppa that goes south and looks interesting.
I saw your other post, so I went with it here.

Actually, maybe we can make it a family function where the wives and kids come out with the food and drinks while the boys go play for a while.
