Midwest Z Fest in Omaha - Pics!
The track day alone made the trip worth it. It was my first time taking the 350Z on a track and testing out all the modding I've done to it since 2004. All I can say is that I was very pleased with the performance. I learned that I need better brakes, but the suspension really helped me out. The thing that saved me is that I have Motul DOT 4 fluid and braided lines. I need new rotors (slotted) and new pads.
Anyway, the car show on Saturday had a great turnout and I think even more cars showed up for the banquet and awards. Now on with the pics! Everyone who went, please feel free to add your own pics to this thread.
I voted for this car to win Best of Show.

Great videos! Thanks for not showing videos of you passing me repeatedly.
The white 300ZX was owned by a guy named Woody out of Denver. He also cleaned house trophy wise at Midwest Z Fest-Omaha 2007.
If this was your first track experience, MAM is a great place to do it. It is very flat and lots of room to run off -in the event of brake failure or just screwing up- without damaging your car.
There is a track day coming soon sponsored by Woodhouse, the mega-dealer who sponsored Midwest Z Fest. Fees are something like $75 for 1 day or $100 for two days. You MUST be a member of Z Cars of Nebraska to register. The last I read it was mostly Porsches and Vipers registered. Go to www.zcarsofnebraska.com for details.
Thanks for making the trip.
