i was doing a little wiring today and i accidentally touched the positive and negative wires that run the parking lights on the z.

the wires sparked for a sec then out.

when i tested them a few minutes later they are out. brake lights are fine, blinkers are fine, headlights are fine.

everything works but the front parking lights and the rear taillights. So if driving at night there is nothing in the back unless i step on the brakes.

i checked all the fuses that i could find. the ones under the front steering wheel on the left and the ones in the engine compartment by the battery and none are blown.

are there any others that i do not know about? if not, any suggestions where to begin to fix it?

did you ckeck the fusebox behind the battery? You need to remove all the plastic surrounds to get to it. I think thats where the fuse is, as I had a similar problem last year.

you saved me, i did not know there were fuses back there!

went in, tail lamp fuse blown. replaced, problem solved.
