Have a silverstone but need to get new side skirts (or sills whatever you want to call them)...I was thinking about getting an aftermarket brand but was also thinking of painting them black.

Anyone seen pictures of black side sills on a silverstone z?

 

I've seen them but don't have any. I'm sure someone on the forum knows where some are.

Personally, I think it looks a lot nicer to paint them.

 

some people get CF and paint some of it .... I dont know about black though ... Daking350 did it on his INGS kit (i think) a while back and it didnt look right to m, but I would have t osee it in person before making the judgment for sure.

 

daking's350z was lemans and black and I thought it looked pretty bad

 

maybe tomorrow i'll mess around with photoshop and post a pic...

I don't like that stupid NISMO race stripe.
I also think it will look better if you keep teh ride all one color.

I'm pretty sure those are carbon fibre on the nismo Z.

 

i think it looks pretty cool...but then again we all have our tastes.

i'll try to do the photoshop thing but time to watch the eagles kick the pants out of green bay
