New Satin Finish Z Emblem @ Courtesy Nissan
I know this has been a topic of hot debate..noticed today that Courtesy Nissan now has Z logo badges that match the door handles in a Satin Finish, which is what I believe many of us have been waiting for. Ordered mine today!http://www.courtesyparts.com/Merchan...Code=Z33S-EMBS
im glad that they finally came out with these. alot of people will be very happy.. because the first emblems (that looked like the side emblems) just didnt look right on the front and back. i purchased these emblems in chrome and i am very happy with them. the chrome emblems go with my car, because i have added chrome accents (chrome grill, antenna, emblems). but these satin emblems will look great on the car, since it will match the handles and rear emblems. great product!

The key is to warm the emblem first. Use masking tape around the emblem to avoid scratches. Use a heavy fish line and sort of "saw" and when doing so always pull upwards so you don't scratch the paint. After a while you could actually lift the emblem off with your fingers. The glue reside that is left can be taken off by using your fingers and roll the stuff off. Then I used Goo Gone to clean it up 100%. This also was a good way to prep it up before placing the new emblem on. If you want to leave it shaved (roadster) just apply some wax on the entire trunk area. If you want to add an emblem make sure the area is clean & dry and MARK your tape so it is centered correctly. Before you placed the new emblem on, you could also add some drops of super glue to the adhesive side....hold with some hand pressure for several minutes and try not getting the car wet for several days afterwards. Most importantly...Take your time and do not rush the job. lol
