I was wondering if the light in the trunk is supplied by 12v. I want to put some type of custom lighting back there but need a power supply. Would I be able to wire in a 12v accessory light in place of that light?

 

everything in a car is 12v basicly. 14.4 when the car is on from the alternator. but most anything automotive will work.
