Swing by your local dealer...they can tell you what you need to replace.

Default Get it repaired...ASAP..

Make sure you get it repaired the right way by a body shop, unless you have the skills to do it. Don't take some quick fix to repair it.

Post a pic or 2 of the damage... that just made me think. This site should have a photo gallery of all the damage ever done to it's members cars.

Ive worked in a body shop for 2 years and this is what I can tell you. Most insurance policy deductibles are 500 dollars so it is not worth to file a claim with your insurance company. If the claimant does offer to file a claim with their insurance, go ahead and do that but it will probably be a long process. Make the claimant fork out the money for a brand new side mirror assembly including the glass and housing. I believe they offer the housing painted to your specific paint code. Then get a quote from a good, reliable body shop, get the quote to the claimant and have him pay for the labor on the install. I think this is the most effective way to get this done. Or you can just go to a body shop and have them do the whole job and make the claimant pay for it. If you do decide to order the side mirror assembly, check us out at www.mynismo.com. If you cant find the part youre looking for, just gtive us a call or email us, my name is Andy.
