Default How to change the hid bulb

I went through the wheel well to change the bulb and cant figure it out. I did see a big gray cap that said (open<- -> lock) anyone do this yet?

to change the bulb you have to remove that grey cover.
It is easiest for me to remove the bumper and the headlight since i've done it so many times. But if you don't want to do that, then:
1. jack the car up on the side you are removing the light from and remove the wheel to give you some space.
2. there are some screws that secure the black pastic wheel well, remove those and pull it back to expose the backside of the headlight.
3. Remove the grey cap by turning counter-clockwise about an inch i believe, it should stop and you won't be able to turn it anymore, but sometimes you can over around and around and completely miss the unlock position.
4. there is your bulb, should be easy for you to remove it.
5. Reverse engineer yourself
6. Enjoy your new HID bulb.

well i put them on through the wheel well and it was easier than i thought it was going to be only took about 45 minutes
the service said 4 hours

they look great (pics coming tonight)

posting pics is such a hard job really isnt worth it just for the bulbs, ill post a pic some time. Merry christmas
