Default Rear wing w/o filling holes

I have the OEM rear spoiler and would like to switch to the Nismo style rear wing. Which are available without having to fill the holes from the original? I am sure I saw one some time ago that incorperated the OEM spoiler with the new one(mounted over it and actually looked decent) but can't remember where I saw it.

Thanks.

i think i read an old post that performance nissan sells these replica jdm nismo wings that fit over the stock oem wing holes, but it's not the type that goes over the stock oem wing still on the car i don't think. you might want to ask Jason or Jeff at performance.

Yes, what I was told was that the authentic nismo wings do not cover the OEM spoiler holes, but the replica wings that Jeff sells do cover the holes. I am looking to do the same thing.

Same here. I actually think the replica looks better than the real Nismo wing. Just not sure on quality though.

Painting the USDM Urethane wing is cheeper then the Fiberglass... Once you have the fiberglass prepped and painted properly it will be just as good quality as the Urethane...

PM me for pricing on both...

If you have OEM spoiler and buy the New Nismo urathane wing you will be sorry. Nissan will not help me in any way because I installed the wing myself. They ducked behind the old void your warranty crap.
Buy the Fiberglass Replica from Jason. check out my thread.

They ended up not helping you out at all?!?!?

Its an over the counter part there for not required to be installed by a Nissan Tech...

Did you call any one at 800-NISSAN1 to find a different dealer to help you out?

Fist I called them and got a file# they told me to go to my dealer and they would take care of it. I went up there the dealer service peeps allways treat me first class, I gave them the File # and Brandon said he would take care of it call nissan and order the new Redline hatch .
I thought everything was gonna work out great, in a couple of days he called me a said "Nissan USA was being stubborn" I'm like WHAT??? so that afternoon I called them gave the Gal (Shaquinta) my File # and she told be I voided the warranty cause I installed the wing myself. You know how pissed I was. No matter what I said it did no good. She said if I would of paid to have a Nissan dealer install it they would fix it. Point is if they would have designed it right there would be no problem. No Disclamer when I bought it. Bummer, but life goes on and I still thank you Jason for your help.

That is not rite...

I will talk to my warranty guy and see if we can do something for you from here... If we do and are able to get you a new hatch (un-painted) you would have to pay shipping of the new part to you and the old part to us...

Thanks...

I thought you got your cituation resolved... I know we ended up taking care of a few local customers with this problem... And we got nissan to actually tell people that it wont fit on a Z33 with a factory lip spoiler...

They actually used YOUR pictures as a refferance... I hope you dont mind me sending the ones you posted in the thread that had the 2 spoilers back to back...

Either way if you ask me... I prefer the look of the USDM Front / Sides / Rear with the JDM Wing

doods.. wings are heavy and that would be silly, not to take off the oem wing. The hatch shocks will not be strong enough to hold the trunk up.

Randall, on your pics, it appears as though the replica's wing tips actually touch the body of the car. Can you confirm? Tks.

They come really close, I put a small felt pad on the under side of the wing tip to avoid touching.

If you don't want to take the factory spoiler off you can get this one from Strosek.

I think it looks pretty good, but it looks kind of funny sitting on top of the factory spoiler.

Yep, it is held down by two or three studs and doubled sided tape.

2 - 10 MM screws on the outside tips and 2 plastic inserts in the center area ( those are about 5/8" holes and they are the ones that show when swaping to the US Nismo Wing). Oh Ya lots of 2-sided tape that's a BIATCH to get off.

there are 4 holes...

if your z came with a factory spoiler from the factory the rear hatch was made with the holes in it.

All Z's in europe have a rear spoiler installed..
