Talking New Seats (Corbeau)

I've been dying to get some new seats, but I just could bring myself to pay so much for Recaros or Sparco. I checked out all the other seat and I really like the Corbeaus. I got both seats, mounting brackets, and free delivery, for just over $900. I made the order and my wife told me they were at the house 2 days later (I was overseas).

I went with the Blue color even though I have a PPW. I wanted to, break up the black interior. I will paint the dash parts later. I will post the pics after I install them tomorrow. For those who want to see the seats, check out the Corbeau.com website. I ordered the CR1 seats........db

looks good to me, i'm with you, milano's are so expensive, they look great, and i'm sure you still save some weight.

Moe, I got both seats for just under MSRP which was about $800. The Brackets were like an additional $160.

Sang, I'm home now. Just got home from FL for Xmas. I didn't have time to put them in when I got back from Iraq. They will be in tomorrow. I can't wait for the wheels to get here. I will post pics tomorrow.....db

Well I finally got them in. The install was pretty easy. The brackets went in with not much fuss. I only thing I had to do was open a hole in the Drivers bracket. There is a peg that comes up from the the floor. The hole in the bracket was a little small. I just took my drill to it and I was done in 2 minutes.

I know I might get flamed about the Blue/White combination, But I think once I get the dash and interior part accented it will look good. I'm not going to paint them the same shade of blue. Sorry I didn't take the pics outside, but it's one of those rare occasions where it's raining here in Las Vegas. You guys know how that goes, right. Take care guys, and I hope you like it...db

Do their seats have lumbar support in them? I would be interested in the leather if they do. Thanks.

Do you get any extra leg room with those?

And I like the blue/white combination. Looks great.

Stalker...Thanks..the leg room is fine. I don't know if you get any more, but it feels like I have to move my drivers seat up a bit more.

Note: I odered the "Wide" version. My waist in a 36". I reccommend the wide if you are my size. It fits in the car easily...db

Thanks Guys....I was a little apprehensive to post it. I'd hate getting flamed for something I spent a lot of money on ..Anyway, I ordered them from Under Pressure Automotive the website is www.deanjoyce.com Its a small business. I believe he is a distributer, but his service was awesome. He gave a nice discount off the MSRP. He also had tracking numbers for me the next day, and answered my emails quickly.

Word of advice for those who are buying seats other that the more popular ones. Make sure they have brackets for the Z. If you have any other question please ask...db

Donny, do you think this is a good color match to the Daytona blue color? Do you guys think it would be tacky in my db car?

GQ....I think it would be good, but I feel you must do something to the interior to break up the blue, like paint some dash parts like I'm going to do. Nothing too drastic, maybe a charcoal. It's a good idea to get a second opinion.....db
