First of all, relax man, its not your car to worry about. Second, do you know of any problems from people not using a strut bar? We weren't trying to say that it is better to not have a strut bar, just that we will be fine without it. Also, i posted in another thread, not sure if you saw it though...my seibon hood isn't shipping yet cause they found some fitment problems and are trying to fix it before shipping out more. Hopefully they are doing the same with your so we dont have any fitmet problems when we do recieve them. I got the VT though, but I would assume its the same for the TS 2

Well i thought everything was going ok and i was going to get out of this mess. But now i dont know. Seibon is telling lies to the dealer that i went through. And im having to take pictures of my engine bay so they know my engine is stock.
Basically im getting non stopped questioning because they think im just backing out on my order.

Which this is all fine. But when i talked to seibon personally on the phone they told me they Knew the hood wasnt going to fit. Because it was molded off the Jap-spec Z!

I dont know this whole situation is just pissing me off.

Atleast for the time being I know that I am not going to go with Seibon for a CF hood. Customer service is key and if issues ever arrive a consumer needs to know that the vendor / manufacturer will stand behind their product if it is their mistake.

I guess this is what happens when you buy cheap aftermarket parts from companies that ripoff the design of other aftermarket manufacturers. Subpar quality, subpar fitment.

You could have searched this forum for seibon, there's got to be hundreds of threads on them, lots from within the past year or two. You're more likely to find an answer from an active member than bumping a 5 year old thread.
