I can send you a doc. on removal of the shifter....if it helps.....Curious as to why you want a pic of shifter without the boot?

Um, I saw another car that came out of the factory w/o it...I just cant remember what car it was...Anyways, I was thinkin bout doin the same thing because I like to see the gears im shifting into. I dont know if i was clear in answering you, sorry. anybody have pictures?

I'm sure they will be posted in no time.....As far as the gear look, Knowing myself, I guarantee that I would drop everything down there and/or loose a finger or two......GL2U....Dave p.s. Do want a pic of just the OEM ****?

wouldn't that make your transmission dirty...? maybe try a seethru boot or something!!

I want to get the ferrari or lambo style shift gate. My friend works in a machine shop so masybe i'll try making one....

There u go my man, thats what i was talkin about. I have access to a CNC machine, so i just wanted to see what ourz looked like w/o taking off the boot yet...jus to see if its worth doin.

Just be carful when you measure the distance between gears. I guess we should get krackin on this. I was going to make one the same color as the trim ring and have it fill up the whole hole. SHould look sweet

I'd be curious to know if the movement between gears would work with that type of plate?......It does look good.......IMO....Dave

I'd rock something like that, especially if it were brushed aluminum to match the rest of the interior.

Working on it......seems like it's be $95 in brushed aluminum......to match the current trim-ring around the shift boot.....just gotta finish and drive with it for a few dys.....hope to have updates in a lil
