Default opinion on kits please...

Thinking of getting either the veilside kit or the Nismo kit but leaving the factory spoiler on. I am not a big fan of exaggerated spoilers, but I love the lines on the sides and back of these kits- think I like veilside better. Not a huge fan of the Stillen (if anyone has seen it) doesn't look like part of the car. Anyway the big question here is do you think these two kits would look good with the nissan rear spoiler or u think it wil look out of place? I have included two pics of the Nismo and one of the Veilside to jog your memory..... would love some feedback

i personally like the veilside one better, cuz the black accent on the nismo just....i don't know but it doesn't apeal to me if it's black, but then if u can get it paint than that's another story~ if u can get it painted then i will say the nismo one is better~and it will look pretty good with the spoiler u have rite now~

IMO, I don't think any kits look as good as stock.

Nismo. Veilside is too hard to get and not worth the money. I like how the Nismo lip goes onto the bumper, and the sides are not as fancy as the Veilside ones.

Default good question..

I have the same question...

I have ordered the aero kit for the stock version.. and plan on getting the Nismo wheels and suspension. Question is regarding the front bumper -- keeping stock or changing to Nismo (assuming that there will be no black on the lip -- but color coded to the car).

I don't care for the side or rear body panels or rear spoiler. The Nissan aero spoiler is fine.

Default NISMO all the way!

I love how the NISMO kit makes the car appear more wild yet calm at the same time. It adds alot of style to this race machine. Has anyone heard of any other aftermarkets co.'s coming out with kits other than Veilside and NISMO?

I personally would stay stock, but if I had to choose between the two, I'd definitely go for the Nismo one. It looks a lot cleaner and not "overdone" IMHO.

I really like the wing on the Veilside! I can't wait until other wings come out for this car. The lip spoiler wing did not cut it for me. Thank goodness i did not purchase it.

I havn't seen a kit or tuner show car yet that doesnt actually make the car look worse to me. I'm putting the money into a big brake kit, wheels and maybe a new stereo instead.

With perhaps an exception for wheels, stock is the way to go for me.

Same here. The Z isn't a car whose looks would be improved with a body kit. Just like you don't see many people adding these things to their Porsches - it would just detract from the car's lines. And for street use, they don't have any functional value.

If I add anything, the stock rear spoiler will be it. It's subtle and blends in well with the car's lines.

Painted Nismo kit makes the car even sexier IMHO. I love what Nismo has done bravo.

I don't like any of the wings I have seen. The stock wing is perfect and will look good with either of these kits. I like both of the kits, although I like the kits that make a hint of bumper on the rear rather than just smooth and round.

I like the Veilside front lip spoiler, but the side skirts and rear lip don't work for me. I would either leave it stock or just mount on the Veilside front lip spoiler.
But who knows how many companies will come out with aero kits for the 350Z

I guess you never heard of Strosek. Porsche owners like many of us on the forum like to be able to pull up at a light and not see a mirror image in the adjacent lane. Get with it.....the personal touch never hurt anyone.

Anyone have a pic of the Veilside wing from the side or the rear?
