My new nismo goody...
Hello guys,
due to some engine conversion to my car, it is also good to update the rev-meter all together now to get more accurate rev limit readings....
The quality of this piece is very nice, and also nismo should have just make the centre techo face replacement instead of chaning the new cluster... it will definitely end up a lot cheaper...
Here are some pics...
cheers,
richie

yeah..... I would need to admit that this piece is very expensive... paying 1080 AUS (820US) including 2 days express shipping from japan, so with normal post, it should be under 800... I am not too sure how much is perf. nissan selling them though...
Comparing an over rev to blow an engine to 820 US, I will opt for that as the standard OEM cluster does not provide finer rev increments than the nismo piece... and with my rev goes up to 7300 rpm, I want to make sure what I am reading is correct...

richie

You could have spent that money towards something way better.... What a waste. Not worth it in the least. If you have the money to waste like that, then good for you..... if not, then what a dumbass.

That's an awesome piece, and Z04, I agree, AFitchTLS- don't be an ***. Look, anyone of us would like to install that on our Zs, it's cool! Yes it's expensive, so's a custom paint job, but don't worry with it, use your time more wisely.
Z350Lover- Excellent work, if you ever want to get rid of it, please, i'll be more than willing to help you find a place to send it (me).

Z350Lover, did you go to the TAS? Up Garage had a booth there with a few used parts, one of them being that gauge cluster... for $500! I also saw it at their shop in Chiba when I stopped by.
I was tempted to buy it, but even at $500 it was a bit much for me.
