Default White stripes for my '04 BD Coupe (!)

Good evening...

I've been thinking that my '04 Daytona Blue coupe would look great with two wide white stripes running right down the middle of the car front to back! A bit of a throwback to the blue/white American racing colors of a while back.

Has anybody already done this? If so, got photos?

If it hasn't been done, is anybody good enough with Photoshop to create a pix so I could see it (other than in my head!)?

All the best

Rob

who cares if its american .... you know what THIS IS AMERICA!!!

get over your import bullshti...all you import fahgs are getting so damn annoying

he isnt confused, he likes classic styling ... he also likes his Z ... he wants to mix the two to personalize his car. ... whats so wrong with that?

it doesn't look bad at all ... use vinyl so you can remove it if you dont like it. I say go for it.

Thank you, JimRHIT, and thanks to all those who posted useful information. My thinking is that if I do it at all, I will probably go with two stripes, first in vinyl, then - if I really like it - I might go ahead and have it done in paint.

On the other hand, my wife (of 45 years) thinks that I should forget the stripes... and, she's usually right!

Thanks again all.

Rob

PS: Don't forget the "American" Cobra was built on an English rolling chassis.

I like the idea. The blue was made for it.

I don't think I'd do it to my car, just because I can't thiink of a color that would look as good...

+1

It might not be something I would do, but I think it could look good and I always like to see someone do something different than the rest of the community.

Maybe what you could do is have someone Photochop that picture provided from one thick stripe to two thinner stripes. Then you wouldn't even have to buy the vinyl to see if you liked it that way!
