You must be thinking of the bumper lens? Ever since Ares ran out, I've been waiting for someone to get these out. Already removed the orange strip and no replacement.

Kamz are you gonna open your lights up again? Considering both of our lights are cleared, I'm wondering if I'm gutsy enough to open em up again.

Did you have Toby do yours? Yeah, I really would like to put the strips in so I'll probably open it up again but of course I don't trust myself to be able to do it so hopefully I can find someone in SoCal to do this for me.

Thumbs up

I'd be interested in a set too. But, I do not have the experience nor the available tools to take apart my headlight, is there anyone in SoCAL or NorCAL who is good like boogiemyke? Any new updates on this thing?

How hard is it to open up the headlight assemblies? Im scared as hell to do it , they arent cheap to replace if you screw something up. Anyone from the south florida area done this?

well i have opened up several pair with my buddy dave079 and its not so hard. the hardest part is watching your headlight sit in that oven. the best way to do it is 250-300 degrees and for like 6 minutes. at no time should the headlight get soft ANYWHERE if it does you will need to do your best to cool it down quickly or it may morph or warp and then the headlight housing might crack. its not so bad once you do it though.

Question Any News??

Just wondering if this clear headlight strip was even close to hitting production? I've been so darn anxious... I'd prefer the clear strip, but painting the strip seems like what I'm gonna have to go with if this doesn't come out....

I've done it before in my previous car. It's not that hard.

So what's the update on the clear strips?

why put a strip outside when you can paint it from the inside. Look much better IMO
